Nikon or Canon?

I am in the process of getting a new DSLR camera that is affordable. For the moment disregard the prices and tell me which one is a better deal (camera).

I looked at three:

-Canon Digital Rebel XTi 10.1MP

-Nikon 3000 10.2MP

-Canon EOS Rebel T3 12.2 MP (movie mode)

Out of these three…which one is better (It seems like I’m looking for a canon, but I’m just looking for the right camera for me)?

I should say: which one is better for a beginner who wants to become a professional?

Edit: btw, is there a camera you recommend that is better for beginners that is not listed above?

(Sept 12, 2011) EDIT EDIT: I decided not to buy a new camera since I want the canon 60D and I just found out that I’m going to be spending a lot of money on my com design classes (my major). SO I am going to wait…

Happy Easter!!

I wish I was spending the day differently but I have a paper due tomorrow and a draft due at 5pm today. I just woke up 10 mins. ago, that draft is def not going to be sent before 5 pm. My paper is more important than that draft, so I will be working on my paper the WHOLE day.

Then I will be working on Photoshop for some of my photos for my photograph class. I really like how they came out =]

Once again…Happy Easter! (I wish I went to Church =[ )
